July 2019: JW Marriott Pune, city’s premium luxury hotel hosted an exclusive dinner with journalist, author and talk show host, Vir Sanghvi on Friday, 19th July. Featuring eminent personalities from Pune, the dinner was hosted at Alto Vino to celebrate sumptuous dishes from the newly launched menu at the restaurant curated by Chef Christian Huber, paired with some exquisite cocktails from Singleton Glendullan.
Vineet Mishra, General Manager, JW Marriott Pune moderated a small discussion between Vir Sanghvi, Chef Huber and the elite guest.
The four course signature menu was inspired by traditional delicacies combined with international techniques. Few of the featuring dishes were, Asparagi Verdi, mousse di asparagi, salsa di mandorle e fontina; Ravioli di zucca biologica, schiumetta di parmigiano; Risotto ai funghi di bosco e tartufo nero and Mousse al cioccolato amaro e gorgonzola, crema di limone.
The exquisite dinner was paired with cocktails such as Glendullan Sour, a heady mix of The Singleton of Glendullan 12 YO, Homemade Honey Ginger Syrup, Fresh Pineapple, Lemon and Aromatic Bitters and Single Revolver, blend of The Singleton of Glendullan 12 YO, Coffee Liqueur, Orange Bitters and Aromatic Citrus Perfume.
The dinner was attended by some of the well-known names in the city. From social icons to entrepreneurs, the evening saw them all celebrating.
With food so good, the evening was truly celebrated over intriguing conversations on food and how it brings people together. With an endeavour to showcase the best of global culinary traditions distinguishable by their authentic flavours and quality ingredients, the dinner was one of a kind experience created by Chef Huber.
