Pune, August 6, 2020: The Pune Zilla Parishad approved a plan of the Hinjewadi village to develop on the lines of Navi Mumbai. The estimated  amount of the project is 25 crore. There will be support from the centre as well as the state government along with the funds of DistricT Planning Committee, Gram Nidhi, etc. 

The CEO of Pune Zilla Parishad and Deputy CEO visited Hinjewadi a few days back. They realised that there was an immediate need to resolve the issues residents were facing. They instructed on drafting a complete plan to be submitted to the Zilla Parishad.

As per the plan, services like solid waste management and disposal plants, public restrooms, CCTV camera control rooms, administrative building, crematorium, rainwater harvesting plants, playground and free WiFi hotspots will be made available along the Hinjewadi area.
