Pune, August 20, 2020: Pune has been given the 15th position in the Swach Survekshan survey of 2020 among the other 47 cities. Within Maharashtra Pune has ranked 4th in the cleanest city and has received 3 star for garbage free city cateory.
Officials from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs said that this Swach Survekshan will contiue to enhance the Swatch Bharat Abhiyan and provide a clear roadmap to inculcate the concept on the entire nation.
The performance of each cities for making the Swatch Bharat Mission successful shows that India is on her way to establish itself as a clean, healthy and self-reliant nation.
