Theatre and art lovers of Pune get ready to engross yourself at a three-day theatre fest – “The Curtains Up Festival of Theatre” showcasing three epic plays organized by Entre Nous at Phoenix Marketcity, Pune from February 15th to 17th.

The event is focused on curating a Theatre Festival with a purpose of bringing innovative performances to the city providing a common platform for interactions, conversations and artistic engagements. The Festival will witness outstanding theatrical performances by Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Trishla Patel and Makarand Deshpande.

This three-day delight will allow the artists to share their theatrical journey and experiences with the audience. There will also be a CUFT bazaar with tribal artisans displaying their art made of natural materials like grass/ metal / wood to aid the promotion of art and culture!

This festival will kick off with “Beastly Tales (a collection of poems and short stories)” being performed by the very renowned and talented Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Heeba Shah and Kenny Desai on 15th Feb. The next day saga continues with Trishla Patel’s “Wolf” – a kid’s musical play about a tribal boy who goes missing and how they come closer to finding the missing boy, amidst the ruckus of the mafia, villagers and the wolf which will enchant the children to a wonderland. Makarand Deshpande’s “Joke”, a play focusing on the religious rituals and the role of faith in our lives on 17th Feb 2018 will end the festival on a high note and their power-packed performance will enthrall the audience.

Day & Date: Thursday 15th to Saturday 17th February, 2018

Time: 4:00 pm onwards (Events starts at 4 pm and theatrical performances to begin around 7 pm)
