February 2020 : Chef Kiran Patil– an Executive chef of David Lloyd Talwalkar was recently felicitated as the best chef at the Asia Food Congress and Awards. The event recently took place at Taj Lands End, Mumbai. These prestigious awards recognize culinary professionals all around Asia.

Chef Kiran is spearheading the 2 restaurants and the café at David Lloyd Talwalkar club. Besides cooking, his passion for travelling and exploring has taken him to more than 90 countries. Few of his favorite places are Hawaii, Honolulu, Cozumel; and the Virgin island of Mexico. He loves collecting the local recipes from all over the world.

One of the biggest achievements has been bagging the Limca record for making the tallest and biggest croquembouche with the the entire team of best executive chefs from around the world.

Chef Kiran’s is very happy to receive this award as he strongly believes ‘That there is no great chef without a great team’
